Comparison review
Huawei Nova 9 has a global score of 81, which is a little bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's overall score of 76.1. Both devices in this review include the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both should count with identical OS features. Huawei Nova 9's construction is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter than TCL 20 Pro 5G, even though they were only released with a couple months difference.
Huawei Nova 9 counts with a little bit better processing power than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a greater amount of RAM. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a display that is very similar to the Huawei Nova 9 one, although the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a just a bit higher pixel amount per screen inch, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a quite bigger screen.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a slightly better camera than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower resolution and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images and video. The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a much greater storage for apps and games than Huawei Nova 9, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a little longer battery performance than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.
