Huawei Nova 9 has a global score of 81, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 overall score. The Huawei Nova 9 body is newer and lighter, but just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Huawei Nova 9 has a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Huawei Nova 9 has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a just a bit higher pixels density, a little larger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei Nova 9 captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features improved battery duration than Huawei Nova 9, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh.
