Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei P Smart (2019), getting a general score of 78.7 against 74.4. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an older and a little heavier phone than the Huawei P Smart (2019), but Huawei managed to make it just a little bit thinner anyway. These phones come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the older 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei P Smart (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper screen than Huawei P Smart (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Huawei P Smart (2019) counts with more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little better performance than Huawei P Smart (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
