Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is much better than the Huawei P Smart (2019)'s 74.4 general score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the previous 10 version and Huawei P Smart (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P40 Pro is a newer phone than the Huawei P Smart (2019), although it's somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier.
Huawei P40 Pro has a little sharper display than Huawei P Smart (2019), because it has a little bit larger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels and a little bit more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei P40 Pro features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P Smart (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 5 GB more RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei P Smart (2019), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a back-facing camera with way more MP. The Huawei P Smart (2019) has more storage for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P40 Pro has greater battery lifetime than Huawei P Smart (2019), because it has a 24 percent more battery capacity.
