The Moto G 5G has a general score of 81.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei P Smart (2019)'s overall score of 74.4. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Moto G 5G has the older 10 version while Huawei P Smart (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Moto G 5G's body is newer than Huawei P Smart (2019)'s, although it's way heavier and way thicker.
The Huawei P Smart (2019) and the Moto G 5G count with quite similar processing units, and although the Moto G 5G has 1 GB more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei P Smart (2019) has a little sharper display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater display pixels density.
The Moto G 5G shoots better photographs and videos than Huawei P Smart (2019), because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a much more megapixels back-facing camera and a bigger camera aperture. Moto G 5G has a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P Smart (2019), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto G 5G also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
Moto G 5G counts with a much longer battery life than Huawei P Smart (2019), because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3400mAh.
