The Huawei P40 is better than Huawei P Smart (2020), with a score of 86.4 against 77.5. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P Smart (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even being the best phone we are comparing, Huawei P40's design is a little heavier and just a bit thicker than the Huawei P Smart (2020).
Huawei P40 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei P40 features a bit superior processor than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 counts with a much better camera than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with way more megapixels. Huawei P Smart (2020) has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P40 features a bit superior battery duration than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 12 percent more battery capacity.
