Huawei P40 lite 5G has a general score of 83.4, which is a bit better than Huawei P Smart (2020)'s global score of 77.5. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 lite 5G has older 10 version and Huawei P Smart (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Huawei P40 lite 5G is a just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier device than the Huawei P Smart (2020).
Huawei P Smart (2020) and Huawei P40 lite 5G have very similar screens, because although the Huawei P40 lite 5G has a just a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bit larger display. The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with a little better processing power than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 lite 5G features greater battery life than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei P40 lite 5G takes much better videos and photos than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
