Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is better than the Huawei P Smart (2020)'s score of 77.5. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS, but Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Huawei P Smart (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although it's the best we compare here, we must note that it's also a a lot heavier and just a little thicker phone.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little faster processor than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit better looking display than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a quite bigger screen, a slightly higher 1200 x 2640 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei P Smart (2020) has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Huawei P40 Pro features a very superior camera than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much more MP back camera and a way higher (4K) video resolution.
The Huawei P40 Pro has superior battery duration than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 24% more battery capacity.
