Comparison review
Huawei P Smart (2020) has an overall score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G9 Play's overall score of 76.7. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P Smart (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10, giving a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. Huawei P Smart (2020) is a somewhat thinner and lighter cellphone than Motorola Moto G9 Play, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference.
Huawei P Smart (2020) features a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G9 Play. Both of them have 8 cores and 4 GB of RAM. Huawei P Smart (2020) has a brighter display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2340.
Motorola Moto G9 Play takes greater photographs and videos than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a larger aperture for better photography and video in low-light situations and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
Huawei P Smart (2020) counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a much better battery lifetime than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 47 percent greater battery capacity.
