The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 global score. The Huawei P Smart (2020) is a just a little bit thinner and lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although they were released with only a few months difference. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P Smart (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version.
The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also counts with a quite better screen pixel density. Huawei P Smart (2020) has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P Smart (2020) features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures way better videos and photos than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a F1.8 aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much longer battery life than Huawei P Smart (2020), because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
