Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Huawei P Smart (2021), having a score of 79.5 against 79.2. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features and some performance improvements. The Huawei Mate 20 is an older device than the Huawei P Smart (2021), but Huawei was able to build it just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter anyway.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P Smart (2021), although it has a bit smaller screen, a little inferior pixel amount in each inch in the screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels. Huawei P Smart (2021) features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster processor than Huawei P Smart (2021). Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. Huawei P Smart (2021) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same diafragm aperture and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has a bigger back camera sensor capturing better quality pictures and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Huawei P Smart (2021) counts with superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
