Huawei Mate X is better than Huawei P Smart (2021), getting a general score of 89.4 against 79.2. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10 version, giving you some additional features and some performance improvements. Despite being the best phone in this review, Huawei Mate X's construction is older, somewhat thicker and notably heavier than the Huawei P Smart (2021).
Huawei Mate X features a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P Smart (2021), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X features a little more vivid screen than Huawei P Smart (2021), because it has a little more pixels per inch in the display, a larger screen and a way higher resolution of 2200 x 2480.
Huawei P Smart (2021) shoots a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also counts with a back facing camera with a higher 48 megapixels resolution. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory.
Huawei P Smart (2021) features just a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate X, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
