The Huawei P40 has a score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P Smart (2021)'s 79.2 overall score. Although the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P Smart (2021) were only released 6 months apart, the Huawei P40 is a little bit thinner and lighter. These phones include the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features.
Huawei P40 counts with a little faster CPU than Huawei P Smart (2021), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
