Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei P smart S's general score of 77.2. Huawei Mate 20's design is older, heavier and just a bit thicker than Huawei P smart S. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P smart S has Android 10 version, so it provides some extra features.
Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a bit worse pixels density and a bit lower 1080 x 2244px resolution, it also counts with a little larger screen. The Huawei P smart S counts with a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P smart S also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a little faster processor than Huawei P smart S. Both have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. Huawei Mate 20 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P smart S, although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega-pixels, they both have a same size aperture. Huawei Mate 20's battery lifetime is very similar to the Huawei P smart S one.
