Comparison review
The Huawei P smart S is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, with a 77.2 score against 76.2. The Huawei P smart S body is newer and just a little bit lighter than Huawei Mate 20 lite's, but it is also a little bit thicker. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P smart S has 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite features a CPU that's very similar to the processing unit in Huawei P smart S, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 lite and Huawei P smart S both feature really similar displays, and although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a little bit lower number of pixels per screen inch and a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Huawei P smart S has a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P smart S has a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Huawei Mate 20 lite takes clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P smart S, although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, they both have the same aperture.
