Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a score of 83.3, which is slightly better than the Huawei P smart S's 77.2 global score. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Despite of the fact the Xiaomi Mi 8 is a lot older and just a little heavier than Huawei P smart S, it's construction is still a little bit thinner.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit better processing unit than Huawei P smart S, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little sharper screen than Huawei P smart S, although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, a bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution and a little smaller display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 takes slightly better videos and photos than Huawei P smart S, although it has a lot worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
