Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite is just a bit better than the Huawei P Smart Z, getting a general score of 76.2 against 75.6. Huawei Mate 20 lite's body is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei P Smart Z, even though both of them were released only a couple months apart. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has the previous 8.1 Oreo version and Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit more vivid display than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also counts with a just a little greater number of pixels per inch of display.
Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with as much memory to install applications and games as Huawei P Smart Z, both of them have a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and the same internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 lite and Huawei P Smart Z count with similar processors, they have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have the same video definition and the same camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a camera with a better 20 megapixels resolution and better 60 fps video frame rates. The Huawei P Smart Z has a bit superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery capacity.
