Huawei Mate 30 has a global score of 84, which is better than Huawei P Smart Z's general score of 75.6. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 has 10 version and Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei Mate 30's design is just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the Huawei P Smart Z, even though they were released only 5 months apart.
Huawei Mate 30 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 30 counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P Smart Z. Both have a same size screen, an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution and a higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei P Smart Z counts with a better storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei Mate 30 has just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P Smart Z, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
