Comparison review
Huawei P40 is much better than the Huawei P Smart Z, having an 86.4 score against 75.6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei P40's construction is newer, a bit thinner and lighter than the Huawei P Smart Z.
Huawei P40 features a little sharper screen than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a little greater screen density. The Huawei P40 has just a bit better processing power than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Huawei P Smart Z features a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P Smart Z features a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 5% greater battery size.
Huawei P40 has a much better camera than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a much better video definition.
