Galaxy J8 is a little bit better than Huawei P Smart Z, with a 76.7 score against 75.6. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy J8 has the previous 10 version and Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy J8 is older than Huawei P Smart Z, it's design is a bit thinner and lighter.
Huawei P Smart Z has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a bit larger display, more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340. Huawei P Smart Z features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy J8 has just a bit better camera than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy J8 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in poorly lited situations. The Huawei P Smart Z has just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Huawei P Smart Z also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P Smart Z has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has a 14% greater battery capacity.
