Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than the Huawei P Smart Z's 75.6 global score. Both of these devices work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System). The Galaxy Note8 is an older cellphone than Huawei P Smart Z, but it is just a little bit thinner and a bit lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater screen density. Galaxy Note8 features a little better hardware performance than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P Smart Z features a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P Smart Z also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Huawei P Smart Z features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note8 takes a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a back camera with a way lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
