Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 is slightly better than the Huawei P Smart Z, with a score of 77.6 against 75.6. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Xperia Z5 has the previous 5.1 version and Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xperia Z5 is an extremely older phone than Huawei P Smart Z, but Sony managed to build it noticeably lighter and thinner.
The Xperia Z5 has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a GPU. Xperia Z5 counts with a brighter display than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixels count per inch in the display.
Xperia Z5 captures better photos and videos than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia Z5 also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot better 23 mega pixels resolution camera. The Huawei P Smart Z features a much better memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal storage.
Huawei P Smart Z has a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has a 38 percent bigger battery capacity.
