Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is just a bit better than the Huawei P Smart Z, having a 78.1 score against 75.6. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has the older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Huawei P Smart Z has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus design is lighter and thinner than the Huawei P Smart Z, although it was released 3 years before.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P Smart Z, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a little bit smaller display and a just a little less pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei P Smart Z has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (although they are slower).

The Huawei P Smart Z counts with a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 5% larger battery size.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus captures slightly better videos and photos than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a back-facing camera with a worse resolution and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and video, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.
