Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei P Smart Z, having a overall score of 80.5 against 75.6. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so both of them should give you all the same OS features. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro construction is just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Huawei P Smart Z, even when both were released with only a couple of months difference.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P Smart Z, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a little bit better screen pixel density. The Huawei P Smart Z features a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Huawei P Smart Z, and although the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Huawei P Smart Z and the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro both count with incredibly similar batteries. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P Smart Z, and although they both have the same aperture, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a lot better video resolution and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
