The Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P10 Lite's 72.8 overall score. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 8 is an older, a little thicker and much heavier cellphone than Huawei P10 Lite. The Huawei Mate 8 features a bit better processing unit than Huawei P10 Lite. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei P10 Lite has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Huawei P10 Lite also counts with a bit greater pixels density. Huawei Mate 8 has just a bit better camera than Huawei P10 Lite, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a bigger aperture, higher video frame rate and a back-facing camera with a much better 16 MP resolution.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P10 Lite, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 8 counts with greater battery lifetime than Huawei P10 Lite, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity.
