Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is much better than the Huawei P10 Lite's 72.8 general score. The Galaxy A50 design is newer, but just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Huawei P10 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy A50 and Huawei P10 Lite feature really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A50 has a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a bigger screen.
The Galaxy A50 features just a bit better processing power than Huawei P10 Lite. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy A50 takes much better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same back camera sensor size and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a much larger aperture and a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P10 Lite, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A50 counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei P10 Lite, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
