The Huawei P10 Plus is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, having a general score of 79.8 against 77.4. The Huawei P10 Plus is a newer phone, and it's also thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 8. Huawei P10 Plus features a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Huawei P10 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P10 Plus has just a bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P10 Plus also has an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Huawei P10 Plus captures clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a much better 3840x2160 video resolution.
