Comparison review
The Huawei Nova 9 is a bit better than Huawei P10 Plus, getting a overall score of 81 against 79.8. The Huawei Nova 9 is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Huawei P10 Plus, but it is just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei Nova 9 features a little faster CPU than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Huawei P10 Plus features a little bit better looking display than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater display pixels density. Huawei P10 Plus features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Huawei P10 Plus also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei Nova 9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Nova 9 also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera.
