Comparison review
Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P10 Plus's score of 79.8. Huawei P40's design is incredibly newer than Huawei P10 Plus's, but it's just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei P10 Plus has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel amount per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Huawei P40 features a bit superior CPU than Huawei P10 Plus. They have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei P10 Plus counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P10 Plus also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei P40 features just a little bit longer battery life than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a 1% larger battery size. Huawei P40 has a greater camera than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking images and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with better video frame rates and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
