Comparison review
The Huawei P10 Plus has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 general score. Even though Huawei P10 Plus is older than the Motorola Edge 40, it's body is a little lighter and just a bit thinner. The Motorola Edge 40 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger screen.
The Huawei P10 Plus counts with a really superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 40 features a lot better camera than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot higher resolution camera and a way larger aperture to take better images in low light situations.
The Huawei P10 Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei P10 Plus also has an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB. Motorola Edge 40 has a bit better battery duration than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a 17% bigger battery size.
