Huawei P10 Plus has a global score of 79.8, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 overall score. The Huawei P10 Plus construction is way newer and somewhat thinner, but heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P10 Plus, although it has a little lower pixels density, a way lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen.
Huawei P10 Plus has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus and Huawei P10 Plus count with really similar processors, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has 4 GB less RAM memory and lesser cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra GPU.
Huawei P10 Plus counts with better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 34 percent larger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus captures a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
