The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has an overall score of 81.9, which is a little bit better than Huawei P10 Plus's 79.8 score. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's design is way thicker and extremely heavier than Huawei P10 Plus. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better looking display than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a quite better screen pixels density, a little larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Huawei P10 Plus counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P10 Plus also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei P10 Plus has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 64 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better battery performance than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a 7% larger battery size. The Galaxy S8 Active shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, a back-facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light environments.
