Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei P10 Plus's score of 79.8. Even though the Xperia Z5 Premium is better than Huawei P10 Plus, it must be noted that it is also older, somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better looking screen than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a greater pixels density.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a CPU that's very similar to the CPU in Huawei P10 Plus, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, it also counts with a GPU. Huawei P10 Plus has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Xperia Z5 Premium takes much better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution. The Huawei P10 Plus has a little better battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 9% bigger battery size.
