Comparison review
Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is much better than the Huawei P10's 75.5 general score. Although the Galaxy M40 is way newer than the Huawei P10, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Huawei P10 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy M40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
Huawei P10 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen density. The Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei P10, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low light environments and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Galaxy M40 counts with much more memory for apps and games than Huawei P10, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Galaxy M40 has a bit longer battery life than Huawei P10, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
