The Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), getting a 79.5 score against 76.5. Asus ROG Phone 8's design is extremely newer, but a little thicker and incredibly heavier than Huawei P20 Lite (2019). Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has 14 version while Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a much better performing processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit bigger display.
