Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), having a overall score of 90.9 against 76.5. Even though the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is newer than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), it's heavier and a little bit thicker. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit sharper display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a better 1334 x 2772 resolution, a just a little better pixel density and a bit larger display.
