The Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s 76.5 score. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S8 is extremely older than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), it's construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter. Galaxy S8 counts with a sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S8 has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019). Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores.
The Galaxy S8 features a slightly better camera than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a way better video definition. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features improved battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
