Comparison review
Google Pixel 3a XL is just a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a global score of 78.9 against 75.4. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS, but the Google Pixel 3a XL has an older 11 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Google Pixel 3a XL body is newer than Huawei P20 Lite's, although it's just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Huawei P20 Lite has just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores. Huawei P20 Lite has a bit sharper display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixel density and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280.
The Huawei P20 Lite has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Google Pixel 3a XL has superior battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Google Pixel 3a XL features a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a camera with lot less mega pixels, it also counts with a way better (4K) video quality and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.
Google Pixel 3a XL is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
