The HTC U11 has a general score of 77.6, which is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite's score of 75.4. Although it's the best in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also older, heavier and just a bit thicker. HTC U11 features a slightly better looking display than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit better pixels quantity in each screen inch.
The HTC U11 features a bit faster CPU than Huawei P20 Lite. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. HTC U11 counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a way lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and a lot better (4K) video quality.
Huawei P20 Lite counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than HTC U11, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite also has an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB. The HTC U11's battery lifetime is very similar to the Huawei P20 Lite one.
Although HTC U11 is a better device, it costs more money than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the HTC U11, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, resigning some features and specifications.
