Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a 79.5 score against 75.4. These phones use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo, giving a lot of extra features. Although it's the best phone in this review, Huawei Mate 20 is a way heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Huawei P20 Lite.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P20 Lite. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei Mate 20 features a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little bit inferior pixels count per inch in the display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2244px, it also counts with a bit bigger display.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a little bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a way lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light captures and video and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with improved battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up some specifications.
