The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a score of 76.2, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite's overall score of 75.4. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, it must be noted that it's also heavier and just a little thicker.
The Huawei P20 Lite has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixels density. Huawei P20 Lite features a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite. They have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a little bit better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 lite shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a higher 20 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, faster video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has better battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 25% more battery capacity.
