Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a general score of 89.4 against 75.4. The Huawei Mate X design is newer than Huawei P20 Lite's, but it's thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei Mate X has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a just a bit inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a lot larger screen and a much better resolution of 2200 x 2480px. Huawei Mate X features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X features a bit faster CPU than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei Mate X has a way better battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 50 percent more battery capacity. Huawei P20 Lite takes slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking pictures in poorly lited environments and a camera with a lot worse resolution.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Lite. If you want to save some money, you can buy Huawei P20 Lite, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
