Huawei P40 is much better than Huawei P20 Lite, getting a general score of 86.4 against 75.4. These devices come with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has older 10 version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 is a incredibly newer phone than the Huawei P20 Lite, but it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Huawei P40 features just a bit better display than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a quite lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bigger display and a little higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The Huawei P20 Lite has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
Huawei P40 features a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM. The Huawei P40 takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations, a way better (4K) video definition and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Huawei P40 features better battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 27 percent greater battery size.
Huawei P40 costs more money than the Huawei P20 Lite, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
