Microsoft Surface Duo has an overall score of 78.8, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Lite's global score of 75.4. These devices use Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has older 10 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Microsoft Surface Duo construction is newer and noticeably thinner, but also noticeably heavier than Huawei P20 Lite.
Microsoft Surface Duo and Huawei P20 Lite count with really similar screens, because although the Microsoft Surface Duo has a just a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the display, it also counts with a lot bigger display and a better resolution of 1800 x 2700 pixels. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P20 Lite has a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei P20 Lite also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
Huawei P20 Lite features just a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 3577mAh battery capacity.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, resigning a couple features and specs.
