Comparison review
The Motorola Moto G8 Plus is slightly better than the Huawei P20 Lite, having a general score of 77.6 against 75.4. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a newer cellphone than the Huawei P20 Lite, but it is heavier and thicker. Huawei P20 Lite features a bit more vivid display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2280 resolution, the Huawei P20 Lite also counts with a quite higher display density.
Huawei P20 Lite features a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Plus. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Moto G8 Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a much larger aperture to take better images and videos in low-light situations, a much better video definition and a camera in the back with way more MP.
The Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Plus features improved battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
