Motorola One Hyper is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite, with a score of 79.8 against 75.4. These phones use Android OS, but the Motorola One Hyper has an older 11 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. Motorola One Hyper's construction is newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei P20 Lite.
The Huawei P20 Lite features a bit better display than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the screen. Motorola One Hyper features a much greater storage for games and applications than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei P20 Lite features a bit better hardware performance than Motorola One Hyper. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Motorola One Hyper features better battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery size. The Motorola One Hyper features a very superior camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a lot better (4K) video definition, a back facing camera with much more megapixels and a bigger aperture for better low-light photos.
Although Motorola One Hyper is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei P20 Lite, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
