Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 UW has a global score of 75.9, which is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite's 75.4 global score. OnePlus 8 UW's body is much newer than Huawei P20 Lite's, although it is just a little thicker and heavier. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the OnePlus 8 UW has the previous 10 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit better processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 UW also has 4 GB more RAM. OnePlus 8 UW features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a quite lower pixels number per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit larger display.
Huawei P20 Lite has just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a lot better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a lot better video resolution, a bigger aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a really longer battery life than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20 Lite. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
