Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a global score of 76.3, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite's 75.4 score. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's body is way lighter and somewhat thinner than Huawei P20 Lite. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Alpha has an older 4.4.4 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Galaxy Alpha counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Lite, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720, a little bit smaller screen and much less pixels per display inch. The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a lot worse resolution camera in the back, and they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Alpha, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a couple specifications.
