Samsung Galaxy J8 has a general score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite's 75.4 general score. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy J8 has older 10 version and Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy J8 construction is a little thicker and somewhat heavier than the Huawei P20 Lite.
The Huawei P20 Lite features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels number per display inch and a lot higher 1080 x 2280 resolution. The Huawei P20 Lite counts with a little better performance than Galaxy J8. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Galaxy J8 takes clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have a 16 MP resolution camera in the back, the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy J8 also has a much larger aperture to take better photos and videos in low light environments.
Galaxy J8's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as the Huawei P20 Lite one, they have exactly the same internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy J8 features just a little better battery duration than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 17% bigger battery capacity.
