Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a score of 79.3 against 75.4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better cellphone than Huawei P20 Lite, it must be noted that it is also a notably older, somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has the previous 5.1 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei P20 Lite features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a higher number of cores. Galaxy Note 5 has a brighter screen than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little bit higher pixels density.
Huawei P20 Lite counts with a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy Note 5 features just a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have a 16 megapixels resolution back camera, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a much higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger camera aperture.
Galaxy Note 5 has a battery performance that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Huawei P20 Lite.
Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs.
